On the Road with OPSM
OPSM were road showing their brands' collections around Australia earlier in the year, and we put together a complete merchandising package to travel with them.
The product making up each group of glasses is complimented by props and risers to visually encompass each trend.. see the what we came up with below!
7 Trends
Round | Women's Make a Statement | Men's Matte
Half Eye | Total Transparency
Aviator | Colour Rich
Mood Boards
Our process includes mood-boarding the concept or in this case one mood board for each of the 7 trend concepts.
With the Total Transparency trend we imagined using different materials and showing off textures, layering them onto each other.
The Half Eye Trend
For this trend we went with 6 platforms for the amount of glasses to display. Circular shapes had a moment for this trend, as did the hexagonal shape to contrast and show some angles while matching the cat eye corners on some of the glasses.
We added different materials here; wood, metallic finish, marble-like finish as well as mirrored. The base fabric was also a contrasting texture representing sophistication in a leather-like nude shade.
The silver and mirror accents were to match the repeated silver details of the glasses.
Colour Rich
Colour Colour Colour! Fun, bright coloured risers and fabric to attract the eye and show off the brightly coloured frames in this trend.
Make a Statement
The pieces in this trend reflect the decadently detailed styles of sparkles and pearls. The custom made box risers are like jewellery boxes for the precious pairs of spectacles.
Aviator
Channeling the pilot for whom this style is named, we thought to dress the table with the items of a flying adventurer; faux shearling fabric and a world map.
Trending
Here we have the trends from left to right:
Total Transparency, Aviator, Men's Matte
Simplicity
The Men's Matte trend talked to the smooth black detail of the featured glasses. We created the look of a sophisticated modern man with wooden detail and a stylish blue grey fabric base.
